Lawmakers Want Changes to FSSA Privatization

The Select Joint Commission on Medicaid Oversight has sent a proposal to legislative leaders asking for action on Medicaid privatization during the upcoming session.  They want a slowdown of the private contract’s implementation statewide, as well as changes to how people apply for services.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Marianne Holland reports.

FSSA Chief Says Not Saving Money On Privatization Contract

Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Secretary Mitch Roob today told the Select Joint Commission on Medicaid Oversight that he plans to slow down the rollout plans on a more than 1 billion dollar contract with IBM Corporation to handle Medicaid and food stamps eligibility.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Marianne Holland reports.
