State Will Have To Borrow Unemployment Funds Sooner Than Hoped

The head of Indiana’s Department of Workforce Development says the state now has just forty million dollars left to pay unemployment benefits through the end of the year. With a monthly payout of about sixty six million dollars, that means Indiana will be forced to borrow money, either from the federal government, or other sources, before the end of the year.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Marianne Holland reports.
