House Delays Action on Immigration Bill

Debate on an illegal immigration bill in the Indiana House was halted Thursday night when House Republicans left to caucus and did not come back, delaying any action on the bill until next week.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Marianne Holland reports.

Realtors, Businesses Say All Township Assessors Should Be Eliminated

The Indiana Realtors Association, Indiana Chamber of Commerce and other business interests held a joint press conference at the statehouse today calling on the legislature to eliminate all township assessors, rather than adopt a Senate committee plan to keep them in the state’s larger communities.  Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Marianne Holland reports.

Governor Signs Great Lakes Compact
